BTS’ j-hope HOPE ON THE STAGE TOUR has featured memorable performances and celebrity sightings. The K-pop idol’s first solo tour was graced by his fellow boy band member Kim Seokjin and his friend Lizzo.
The high-profile attendees include Im Siwan from the Squid Game series, the KATSEYE group, Kevin Woo, Filipino TikTok sensation Niana Guerrero, and NIGO, amongst others.
The singer/ dancer began his successful solo tour on February 28, 2025, with an electrifying performance in Seoul City before heading to Brooklyn in the United States.
After two sold-out shows in Brooklyn on March 13 and 14, 2025, j-hope continued his run in the US with Chicago, Mexico City, San Antonio, Oakland, and LA. The Asian leg of the tour began in Manila and has included shows in Saitama and Singapore. He kicked off Singapore’s set with a solo dance performance.

Kim Seokjin, the oldest member of the critically acclaimed boy group BTS, was dressed in a brown varsity jacket and a black baseball cap at j-hope's concert in Seoul. Concertgoers couldn’t contain their excitement when Jin was shown on the big screen chanting, "J-Hope, saranghae! Saranghae, J-Hope!" Which means: "J-Hope, I love you! I love you, J-Hope!"
The Astronaut hitmaker also posed for pictures with his group member, who was dressed in a monochrome red ensemble.
Lizzo also reunited with her friend J-hope at the latter’s Los Angeles show at the BMO Stadium. The duo became friends after reportedly meeting at a Harry Styles concert in Los Angeles in 2021.
They exchanged numbers, and Lizzo, in an interview with Audacy in 2022, revealed that j-hope was a “great texter and expressive.” At the latter’s concert, the duo met up backstage, where they snapped a few photos, which Lizzo uploaded to Instagram with the caption:
“Call me Mona Lizzo (thanks for the nickname @uarmyhope).”
Actor Im Si-wan paid a surprise visit to j-hope at the Manila leg of his HOPE ON THE STAGE TOUR. The BTS member shared a picture of himself and the Squid Game actor backstage and expressed his gratitude to the latter in the caption. He described the actor’s visit as the best surprise and thanked him for coming.
KATSEYE group attended j-hope’s concert in LA and took pictures with the Korean Idol backstage. Another celebrity at the LA concert was South Korean-American singer Kevin Woo. He shared a video of himself attempting the Mona Lisa dance challenge at the concert.
Niana Guerrero met j-hope backstage at his Manila concert and shared images of them on Instagram Stories, which the Korean singer reposted. Nigo, a popular Japanese designer and artistic director of Kenzo, attended j-hope’s concert in Saitama.
Other celebrities spotted at the HOPE ON THE STAGE TOUR include Kentaro, Manny Jacinto, Sebastian Roché, Zach Sang, and Billboard host Tetris.
