King Charles III has partnered with Apple Music to launch The King’s Music Room show, which offers an intimate glimpse into the monarch's personal musical tastes.
The special broadcast is set to premiere on Apple Music 1 on Monday, March 10, at 6 a.m. GMT, where the King will share his favorite songs from his personal playlist. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bob Marley, Kylie Minogue, Grace Jones and contemporary artists Davido and Raye are among the ones who made it to his list.
Apple shared a video on its social media accounts, featuring His Majesty speaking about how music has played a significant role in his life.
“Join His Majesty King Charles III as he shares “songs which have brought me joy.” Monday at 6AM GMT. Only on Apple Music.” The post read.
This innovative project celebrates Commonwealth Day and highlights the King's deep appreciation for music. The latest announcement by King Charles has generated a significant buzz among social media users with many excited about the unique collaboration.

The King’s Music Room will reportedly be recorded in King Charles’s office at Buckingham Palace. In the video clip shared by Apple Music, he explains how music has the “remarkable ability to bring happy memories, comfort us in times of sadness, and take us to distant places.”
Some netizens are surprised by the “unexpected collab” and are looking forward to seeing his playlist. They are wondering what kind of songs will be on his playlist and whether it will include Kendrick Lamar’s hit track Not Like Us.

This is not the first time the royal family has collaborated with Apple. As per a report in People magazine, Prince William previously collaborated with Apple by recording an episode of the Apple Fitness+ podcast Time to Walk, where he shared insights into his family life while walking in Norfolk.
