Popular K-pop anthem Golden by girl group Huntr/x makes history as the song bags numerous nominations at the 2026 Grammys. Golden became the first song by a female group in nearly 20 years to be nominated in the Song of the Year category. It joined Katseye Gabriella to be the first song by a girl group nominated in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category.

Golden was performed by Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami as part of the fictional K-pop girl group Huntr/x. It received positive comments from music critics. Rolling Stone’s Debashree Dutta described the track as “an infectious electropop track,” adding that the song’s lyrics effortlessly portray the thoughts, purposes, and complexities of each character’s role. Ditto said:

“Thematically, 'Golden' portrays their growth as guardians of humanity.”

More details on Huntr/x’s Golden Grammy Nominations

On Friday, November 7, 2025, the Recording Academy released its list of nominations for the 2026 Grammys. Golden, the soundtrack of the popular 2025 Netflix animation K-pop Demon Hunters, received several recognitions. The song received four Grammy nominations, including two major category nominations.

Nuna reacted to their nominations. She said in an exclusive Billboard interview:

“The breaths have been snatched from our bodies. Our hearts are being pulled in so many different directions. But above all, I think we’re just very, very, very grateful to be a part of what feels like a very cultural and historic moment, and something that as kids we would have we craved so bad to see. Being a part of it is just really surreal.”
