Joe Jonas, a former flame of Taylor Swift and member of the Jonas Brothers, recently shared his thoughts on Swift’s chart-topping twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. In an exclusive interview with Esquire, published on Monday, October 20, 2025, Jonas revealed that he has listened to Taylor’s latest musical project and shared his reaction to it.

He described the Fate of Ophelia crooner as the biggest artist right now and revealed he already has some favorites.

“I’ve heard some of it. I think she’s obviously the biggest artist out there, and I think it’s good. Everybody’s got an opinion about it, but from what I’ve heard, there are some catchy melodies.”

Joe Jonas and his brothers Nick and Kevin Jonas joined Esquire for an exclusive interview where they spoke about their music and the ongoing JONAS20 tour. The Jonas20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour by the Jonas Brothers commenced on August 10, 2025, and is set to conclude on December 22, 2025.

A highlight of the concert tour was when the brothers brought pop icon Demi Lovato on stage to perform together. Joe Jonas revealed that he was the one who had written to Demi Lovato and invited her.

“I wrote Demi Lovato to see if she would be up for it. She was. That was really special. It set the tone for us to bring out familiar faces and artists who mean something to us, who matter.”

He added:

“We didn’t want to bring out just anyone; we wanted to bring out people who we felt could really speak to our journey.”

Kevin Jonas shared that this tour has taught them to respect each other's individualities and work seamlessly as a team.

“This time around. I think we’ve really learned to understand and respect each other’s individuality. For so long, the mothership was the mothership. Nothing was more important than the band, and everything else came second. But now we can celebrate each other’s solo music.”

He added:

“It’s taken a long time for me to feel confident and right about the music I make on my own, but it finally felt right to do it.”
