What comes next?
Drake, Future, and Rick Ross have released songs that aim at each other. Some of that came during the friction between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. Because DJ Khaled has worked with all of them in the past, people wondered where he stood. He has collaborated with Drake, Ross, and Future at various times.
But in the interview, DJ Khaled said he chose not to join the drama. He said he did not feel like being in that kind of energy and that he believes music is a way to connect. He said he is a collaborator and hopes the artists can speak and clear things up.
It is not yet clear if Drake, Ross, or Future have responded to Khaled’s offer or words. But many people see what DJ Khaled said as a call for peace. This moment adds to many talks in hip-hop about how feuds grow and how they might be ended.
