“I’m hype for it”: Internet buzzes as Leon Thomas drops trailer for ‘PHOLKS’ EP starring Issa Rae

Leon Thomas took to his official Instagram to share a music trailer for his soon-to-be-released second album, Pholks. The trailer starring Issa Rae showed the American actress and producer introducing Leon with dramatic sound effects.

She said:

“Right over here ladies and gentle men. Now I need you to get yourselves and your souls together. This man will make your liver quiver! This man will make your blood splatter! This man will free your knees! Ladies and gentlemen, let's all welcome brother number one, Leon Thomas.”

Pholks is scheduled to be released on October 24, 2025. The EP contain seven tracks: Just How You Are, My Muse, 5MoreMinutes, Trapped, Bacarrat, Feel Alive, and Lone Wolf.

The 43-second trailer created a lot of buzz on social media.
