Ariana Grande has been making cryptic posts on social media, and word on the street is that something big is coming. On August 27, 2025, a video posted on the singer’s Instagram page shows Grande tapping on a screen with shaking hands as she is alerted that “A corrupt file has been found and corrected.”

The video pans to the text:

"See you next year … Announcement loading …”

While the 7 Rings hitmaker didn't reveal any further information, it may be surmised that her secret project might be related to her recently released album, Eternal Sunshine, especially as the announcement teaser was made through a joint post with her Brighter Days Instagram account.

While it may be possible that Ariana Grande is gearing up to do live shows in support of her latest project, bear in mind that the singer stated in December 2024:

"I feel so grateful to the acting, and I think my fans know that music and being on stage will always be a part of my life. But I don’t see it coming anytime soon,” Grande continued. “I think the next few years, hopefully we’ll be exploring different forms of art, and acting is feeling like home right now.”

In a July 2025 post, she clarified that she didn't plan to abandon singing and performing altogether and would make time for her “lifeline.”

More details about Ariana Grande’s Eternal Sunshine album

Eternal Sunshine is Ariana Grande’s seventh studio album, released in March 2024. Additional tracks were released through a deluxe version Eternal Sunshine: Brighter Days Ahead in March 2025. Eternal Sunshine debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and became her sixth entry on the chart.

All three tracks from the album debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Ariana Grande described Eternal Sunshine, the first album released after her divorce from Dalton Gomez in October 2023, as “incredibly human” and "a concept album."

She added:

"The thing that was beautiful about it was, when I was writing [Eternal Sunshine], it was with no intention for the world to hear it. I was just kind of [like], ‘Let’s just go. Let’s see what comes out.' And then, when I was done, I remembered that people will hear it and sometimes, people will sensationalize things and assign meaning to certain things."
