Recently, another one of Lucki's unreleased songs slipped through the cracks and made its way over to the internet. In his decade-long career as an artist, the rapper has found himself in such situations more often than he would like. But when another song of his leaked online recently, the rapper decided to take care of it himself and confronted the one responsible for the leak on Instagram.
However, the measures he took were rather unusual, as he pleaded with the leaker to stop leaking his music by comparing himself to a starving kid in Africa. Ironically, even the screenshots of his conversation with the hacker got leaked, and they made their way over to social media. It is not yet known how Lucki got hold of the leaker, but the snippets of his Instagram chat are going viral on social media and have the internet in stitches. Here's what he said to the leaker:
"Please bro, look @ me like I'm a starving kid in Africa. Why would you do this to a starving kid in Africa? My entire village was murdered and it's just me and the songs. But your leaking them. So now I'm just starving alone in the jungle, or wherever my village is"
While some fans lauded Lucki for his creative pitch of comparing himself to a starving kid, others ridiculed the rapper for his plea. X became a meme factory as netizens poked fun at the absurdity of the situation.
One fan commented:
"Funniest leaker-artiste interaction ive seen so far. we need new lucki songs please"
Accompanied with laughing emojis, another bewildered fan wrote:
"Lucki” and “starving” in the same sentence"
Another fan quipped:
"All bro gotta do is just change his password"
A fourth fan chimed in:
"Bro was high af tryna negotiate w the hackers"
As the conversation leaked online, it led many fans to debate why Lucki, of all people, is the one who keeps getting targeted by the leakers. While some poked fun at his cybersecurity passcode, others suggested it was an inside job. The reactions kept coming even as some fans empathised with the rapper for getting targeted by the hackers.
One fan requested:
"STOP LEAKING HIS SHI MANE why tune out of all artists bruh he drop consistently"
Another fan remarked:
"People clowning but thats sad. He probably worked hard on that"
Yet another fan opined:
"But leakers need to get their s**t together gang this not it."
Lucki comparing himself to a starving kid in Africa drew strong reactions from the fans, as the rapper leaned into the chaos himself. His ability to laugh at his misfortune amused many, but the incident also raised questions about the ongoing problems that the music industry is going through, which seriously undermine an artist.
