Britney Spears has treated her fans to a new vacation video. The “Baby One More Time” crooner took to her official Instagram on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, to share a clip of herself enjoying a day on the water.
In the short video, which has garnered thousands of likes and reshares and nearly ten thousand reshares, the 43-year-old pop icon wore a green bikini with yellow piping. Britney Spears enjoyed herself while dancing to Timbaland and Justin Timberlake’s 2009 hit song “Carry Out.”
Britney Spears’ use of Justin Timberlake’s music is sure to raise eyebrows as the two celebrities dated for three years. They began dating in 1999 and split in 2003. While their split wasn't amicable, Spears has continued to engage with Timberlake’s music over the years.
Elsewhere in the video, Britney also chatted with the boat’s captain, expressing excitement for the water.
“Me and this man are out here in this water!” she added: “Look at us! Sorry, I’m a nerd.”

Before her recent boat vacation, the “Toxic” hitmaker shared a rare video of herself singing on Monday, August 18, 2025. In the clip, Britney wore white pajama bottoms and a cropped red-and-white polka-dot top. She finished the look with black knee-high leather boots.
In a more serious Instagram post, Britney Spears revealed she was writing two fiction novels. Although she didn't reveal the titles or the release dates, Spears described the activity as a form of therapy.
“I'm busy back and forth between Miami and Mexico, think I found a new hot spot!!! It is my first time writing two fiction novels!!! It is the best therapy I could ask for, literally life-changing!!! Every now and then, I have to actually put my real clothes on, but good God, it feels good to depart into writing A !!! To dream, marvel, and understand the power of the imagination and how it's so incredibly important for children to always know they can do whatever the heck they put their minds too!!!”
