Fifth Harmony has made their first X post in five years, and fans think something might be cooking. On August 31, 2025, the girl group consisting of Normani, Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, and Lauren Jauregui, shook up their fanbase with a post which read:
“#FifthHarmonyFollowSpree.”
The last time the X account had any activity was in July 2018, when the group wished Brooke a happy birthday.
Over the years, different group members have given varying or vague statements about the group’s reunion. While on the red carpet for a Billboard Women in Music 2024, Brooke spoke about the possibility of a reunion:
"We’ll see… we’re not sure,” Brooke said when asked about getting the group back together.
Jane added, “I love that our fans can reminisce on such good times, and I love that we’re getting the credit again."
Brooke stated that the group had made impactful music that resonated with fans even now:
"Our music was very impactful at the time, and I feel like it was kind of overlooked, to be honest. So now that it’s reviving again on its own, it just shows our music speaks for itself.”
More details on Fifth Harmony as the group’s X account becomes active again
Fifth Harmony was created in the second season of X Factor US in 2012. The group consisted of the present members, including Camilla Cabello. Their 2015 album, Reflection, made them break into the main music scene and featured Worth It, which became their first single to reach the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The five-member group’s collaboration with Ty Dolla Sign Work from Home peaked at number four on the Hot 100 in June 2016. In December 2016, Camilla Cabello’s exit was announced by their record label:
"After four and a half years of being together, we have been informed via her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony.”
Fifth Harmony officially disbanded in 2018, leaving the remaining members to pursue solo endeavors. In a 2023 interview with Billboard, Brooke indicated that she was open to reuniting with her former bandmates:
"We’re women now, and we have grown so much, and we have done our own thing, gone our own ways, and gone our own path. And now we’re together in a different light,” the singer said. “I’m trying to reunite with them, so I think some sort of reunion may happen.”
