Reneé Rapp’s highly anticipated album Bite Me is on the horizon, and the singer has teased another single from it. The Mean Girls actress shared a video on her socials of herself wearing a scarf, dark glasses, and gloves as she mouthed the lyrics to Hey You:

“Hey you/ All of the time you wasted being mad/ We could’ve been cute/ And we could’ve been Stupid/ Hey you!”

Reneé Rapp’s latest teaser comes after dropping the lead single from the Bite Me album, Leave Me Alone in May 2025. The 25-year-old performed the track at the American Music Awards and showcased her edgy persona with the lyrics:

"I'm a real bad girl but a real good kisser/ Leave me alone, bi***, I wanna have fun/ Got my hair tied up, phone on "Don't disturb"/ Leave me alone, bi***, I wanna have fun/ Wear my jeans so low, show my little back dimple/ Leave me alone, bi***, I wanna have fun/ Even line my lips just to match my nipples/ Leave me alone, bi***, I wanna have fun,"

Bite Me drops August 1, 2025

Reneé Rapp shared news of an upcoming album back in June 2024 as a guest on the Close Friends Only podcast. Rapp stated that her upcoming project was deeply emotional, messy, and reflected her 23rd year.

She continued:

“It was so bad, and I thought 22 was insane for me. I think the rawness of those emotions adds a layer of authenticity to my music. It’s like, in that moment of vulnerability, I can tap into something deeper and more genuine.”

Bite Me drops two years after Rapp’s debut album Snow Angel. The album debuted at number 44 on the Billboard 200. The pop and pop rock album featured four tracks: Snow Angel, Talk Too Much, Pretty Girls, and Timmy Hurts. It became the biggest first-week debut album by a female artist in 2023.

Snow Angel also featured on the UK Albums chart at number 7 and became her first entry on the chart. Reneé Rapp’s first album project also became the highest charting entry on the ARIA Albums chart.

Four months later, the Broadway actress collaborated with Megan Thee Stallion on the Not My Fault track. The artist also began touring and performing at festivals.
