The feud between Cardi B and JT has reached new heights. Days after the release of her latest album, Am I The Drama?, Cardi surprised fans with a new bonus track titled Doing Too Much. The release was notable for its timing, coming just hours after her fiery exchange with JT.
On the track, she raps seemingly pointed lines like, "Bit**es stealin' my style, h**s really tryna rob me," which many listeners interpreted as a jab at her industry peers. Fans reacted to this, saying:
"It's over for JT that diss track cominnnn"
This latest drama is part of a long-running tension between the Bronx rapper and the City Girls star. The feud dates back to 2022, when Cardi B dropped her collaboration Tomorrow 2 with GloRilla. JT publicly congratulated only Glo, which Cardi's fanbase read as shade. Eventually, a series of insults were exchanged on X (formerly Twitter) between them, with Cardi calling JT a "lapdog" and JT snapping back with "wiener dog."
Internet reactions to Cardi B dropping a bonus track Doing Too Much
Pop Base took to its official X (formerly Twitter) to share that,
"Cardi B has released ‘AM I THE DRAMA?’ bonus track ‘Doing Too Much’ on streaming platforms."
Fans did not wait long to jump into the comment section of the X post as they shared their opinions about the new track. Below are some of their remarks:
"Fine, us Barbz will go stream the entire album in order again to get to the bonus track 🦄", declared a fan.
"Cardi B has surprised again, how does this track compare to the rest of the album?", questioned another.
"Love the dramatic visuals but wish she would experiment more with her sound instead of sticking to the same formula.", opined a third.
Others also chimed in:
"she is really proving the chart obessions wrong, she does this for the arts because if she rlly did, she would’ve promoted it and announced it days ago", penned a netizen.
"cardi is so desperate for outselling pf2 like, how you gonna discount ur own album on the same week release and a “bonus edition”, going outside threathening to your own fans to buy ur album? this is so D E S P E R A T I O N miss cardi what a lack of organic discography", commented another.
"Desperate! I don’t wanna hear anything from this base about doing anything to sell. Y’all dragged Nicki for mentioning her fans buying & having multiple covers to buy now look who’s begging & outside selling looking homeless w a baby in her stomach 😭", added a third.
