Young Thug has revealed why he shifted his album’s release date from September 19, 2025, to September 26, 2025. According to the rapper, he respected Cardi B, whose highly anticipated album, Am I The Drama, is scheduled for a September 19 release.
The American rapper took to his official X account to write:
“Yall know I wasn’t dropping Friday. It’s a ladies day, do yo sh*t @iamcardib.”
The post quickly garnered attention as netizens flooded his comments section to express their views. Fans of Cardi B praised him for his consideration.

While some users on X praised Young Thug for being considerate, other fans of American rapper Doja Cat questioned why he was changing his release date to coincide with hers.

UY Scuti is the highly anticipated fourth studio album of American rapper Young Thug. This album is the rapper’s first since his 2023 album, BUSINESS ISBUSINESS. UY Scuti will feature confirmed appearances from Future, Mariah the Scientist, Travis Scott, KenCarson, and 21 Savage.
According to reports, celebrity producer Metro Boomin, Wheezy, Southside, 9Jay, Dez Wright, Juke Wong, Rosen Beatz, and Taurus will handle the production.
Young Thug’s UY Scuti is preceded by two singles Money on Money and Miss My Dogs. Money on Money is the album’s lead single and features Future. It was released on April 25, 2025. The song talks about loyalty, betrayal, and the consequences of being a snitch. A part of the chorus read:
“This motherf**ker pink slip, n*gga, no rent/ I don't want you goin' to do nothin' if I gotta be the one tell you to spin/ These f*ck n*ggas tellin' for nothin' and I gotta be the one callin' 'em friend/ Uh, drop…”
Other songs reported to be on the album include Dope, Big & Mack, AWFUL LOT OF SPIDERS, Tears, Eaters, Tryna’ Tell U, Winning Again, Backend, Tell Me What You Feel, YUCK, and Silly Boy.
