The last tour Kelly Clarkson went on was in 2019 during her Meaning of Life Tour. It lasted for a few weeks, from January 24 to March 30. Clarkson is currently involved in her American daytime talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show. But a few days ago, the American Idol alum performed at the Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena in Atlantic City, New Jersey, for two nights.

While onstage, she told the audience:

"We haven’t done a show in a while, y'all, 'cause I have a talk show. It’s like a whole other job."

However, for 2025, Clarkson has more planned. She will be doing her second concert residency in Paradise, Nevada. The concert will begin on July 4 and last till November 15, 2025. All the shows will be performed at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

Kelly Clarkson expressed how happy she was to be back on stage during her two-night show at the Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena. Not only does Kelly have a talk show to host, but she is also a mother of two. During her time on stage, Clarkson said to her fans,

"We are bummed 'cause we love doing shows, and it's hard to fit it in, so it’s cool when it does work out with the schedule... and it's cool to get to see your faces and feed off y'all. Thank you so much for having so much energy."

Kelly performed some of her greatest hits for her fans on Friday. These include Because of You, My Life Would Suck Without You, Miss Independent, Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You), Breakaway, and Since U Been Gone.

More details about Kelly Clarkson wanting to quit The Kelly Clarkson Show

A month ago, Page Six exclusively reported that the Stronger singer mentioned quitting the talk show when her contract expires in 2026. Adding fuel to the speculation was an NBC insider who told The Post that NBCUniversal executives were already looking for someone to take Clarkson's place.

An industry source shares a few possible reasons why Clarkson wants to quit. They said:

"Kelly’s number one priority is her children, and they always will be... The show is grueling. It’s a whole lot of work, and I hear that Kelly would like to spend more time down South."

As for the rumors of someone replacing Kelly, the source also commented:

"There’s a long list of names, and Hoda [Kotb] is part of that list," the source mentioned the former Today show co-anchor.

Throughout her career, Kelly Clarkson has dipped her toes in numerous ventures. From being the first winner on American Idol to being a judge/coach on another singing reality competition series, The Voice, Kelly has constantly reinvented herself as an entertainer.
