June is almost here, and the music industry is all set to release some of the most anticipated albums of the summer! With major album drops, May was a great month for music lovers as well. A few songs from the album, including Diet Pepsi and Headphones On, are already out and are available on streaming platforms.
Virgin by Lorde

Following her 2021 release, Solar Power, Lorde is ready to make a comeback with her newest album, titled Virgin, on June 27. The album comprises eleven tracks. The singer revealed that the title Virgin, is a visceral documentation of her femininity. According to Lorde, the word is indicative of her independent self and an expression of her full potential. The album cover is an X-ray of a woman's pelvis, with a belt, zipper, and an IUD. Two tracks and music videos from the album, What Was That and Man Of The Year, are out now on streaming platforms.
W!LD by Russ
In the last week of June, Russ is set to release his new album W!LD. The album features nineteen tracks, with a few already available on streaming platforms. As per the artist, the album revolves around the ups and downs in the exploration of the inner self, embracing how joy and hardship go hand in hand. Since the album is about accepting the uncertainty, the album art is a contemplation on the same idea. Russ, on his social media, has posted his interpretation of the artwork.
Tha Carter VI by Lil Wayne
After a long wait from the fans, Lil Wayne is all set to release his new album, Tha Carter VI, this June. The album was announced on Cetaphil's We’re All a Lil Sensitive’ commercial featuring Lil Wayne during the Super Bowl, leaving fans excited. As per the rapper's interview with Rolling Stone, the album has a long list of featured artists, including Miley Cyrus and Billie Eilish.
I Forgive You by Cynthia Erivo

2025 is an exciting year for The Wicked fans, as after Ariana's Eternal Sunshine deluxe album, Cynthia Erivo is also set to release her new album, I Forgive You. The album has twenty songs and was written over more than two years while she was busy filming and promoting the movie Wicked. The album cover depicts Erivo wearing white wings to "humanize the dove", as stated by the singer in SWAY'S UNIVERSE Podcast.
