Justin Bieber recently shared a set of heated texts that showcase the singer cutting off an unnamed friend over their 'lashing out' remark regarding his anger. The texts were shared by the singer in a post on his official Instagram page on June 16, 2025:
The posts sparked concern on social media, with many praying that he heals, such as the comments quoted below:
"Someone please intervene and get this dude some help before it’s too late." one netizen stated.
"As someone with CPTSD, what happened to you is not your fault but it is 1000000% your responsibility to get the help you need. This is a cry for help and your fans and loved ones are clearly telling you what you need to do." another netizen stated.
"Go to therapy and stop ranting and spilling your thoughts and feeling on social media. Nothing good nor any healing is gonna come from you doing this." one fan suggested.
"You have the right to feel the way you feel. But attacking another person due to your own trauma makes it seem like you still have a lot to work on." another fan stated.
Justin Bieber responds to fans' concerns over his text reveal
After fans and netizens expressed their concern over the series of texts by him, Bieber responded with another Instagram post, stating:
"People keep telling me to heal. Don't you think if I could have fixed myself, I would have already myself? I know I'm broken. I know I have anger issues. I tried to do the work my whole life to be like the people who told me I needed to be fixed like them."
The singer continued in the statement:
"And it just keeps making me more tired and more angry. The harder I try to grow. The more focused on myself I am. Jesus is the only person who keeps me wanting to make my life about others. Because I'm honestly exhausted about thinking about myself. Aren't You?"
Justin Bieber's mental health issues have been an ongoing topic of discussion for a while now. The singer admitted to mental health issues and drug abuse all the way back in 2019, in a long message posted on his social media. His behavioural problems had been apparent even before that, with arrests and other disorderly conduct issues showing up as early as 2014.
Justin Bieber's condition was later aggravated by his contracting of Lyme disease, which he revealed in 2020. The disease affects the nervous system and can cause fatigue and other issues, according to the Mayo Clinic.
Alongside Lyme disease, the singer also has had Chronic active Epstein-Barr virus (CAEBV) infection, also known as Chronic Mono. The disease is a chronic version of mono where the symptoms last for months.
This was not the end of his health issues. The singer was also diagnosed with Ramsay-Hunt syndrome, which causes paralysis of the facial nerves, as per the Mayo Clinic.
Justin Bieber has continued to face such problems in more recent years, with the singer talking about his mental health struggle in early March 2025 as well, where he admitted to feeling self-hatred and other issues. Justin Bieber suspended his world tour back in 2022 for similar issues and has been on hiatus for the most part ever since to focus on his health, both physical and mental.
