Following the release of his new album, Donda 2 Kanye West has revealed his plans for new projects. The rapper made a special appearance on Twitch streamer N3on (Neon Singh)'s Kick stream on April 29, 2025. A snippet shared by X user, @FearedBuck, shows Ye talking about his upcoming plans. With his face covered, Ye says,

“We deliver an album at this point every month, two months, Like do you remember when we did the five albums in 5 weeks? Just like back to back."

The rapper reportedly referred to the Wyoming sessions in 2018, when he had undertaken an ambitious project to release "five albums in 5 weeks." He gave an example of rapper Wayne and noted that he dropped "70 songs" in a year. He added,

"It's that energy that's happening right now."

He explained that there were "constraints" when he worked with a record label, "of the rate" at which he could release music. While the rapper kept information under wraps, he hinted that he may be releasing more music in the near future.

Ye appeared on Twitch streamer N3on's stream for an "exclusive Donda 2 listening party." Kanye West is reportedly set to release consecutive albums, while mentioning that this can be achieved when one is working without a record label. This feat is not unknown to the rapper, and he has previously released consecutive records. In 2018, as part of the Wyoming sessions, Ye released the following albums in association with other artists: Ye, Pusha T's Daytona, Kids See Ghosts with Kid Kudi, Nas's Nasir, and Teyana Taylor's K.T.S.E.

In another part of the stream, N3on was seen praising Kanye West. He revealed he had been "around" Ye for "two days." He added that Kanye West is "one of the hardest working rappers" he has seen in his life. He explained,

"Because everything you do has a meaning behind it. You are working on so many projects and so many things at one time and you are just dedicated and smart as f**k."

N3ON also shared a picture with the rapper on his X channel (@N3onOnYT) following the latter's appearance on the stream.

Amid family disputes and navigating his career, Ye has actively voiced opinions on his X channel. While many posts have invited controversy, fans have expressed their hopes of seeing the rapper back in music. While it is unclear if a new album is planned in the upcoming month, Ye posted a short film called GARAGE on his X channel, further piquing users' interest.
