More details on Karol G's upcoming album TROPICOQUETA
Before announcing the highly anticipated album TROPICOQUETA on June 8, 2025, Karol G dropped her critically acclaimed single Latina Forever on Thursday, May 22, 2025.
The chorus holds the essence of the song:
"It's so dope; the party's lit with them/ Hot mamas forever, I'm sticking with my girls/ Latinas (Hey), the party's (Oh) lit with them/ Mamacitas (Hey) forever (Oh), to get this kind of flavor, you'd have to be born,"
The second verse reflects themes of independence, feminine power, celebration, and self-accountability:
"Ooh, what were you thinking?/ That I'd go home with you tonight?/ You're getting it wrong/ Tonight I'm playing for the other team/ To devour that combo super-sized (Ooh)/,We all wanted that saoco on the floor (Ooh),"
It continues:
"We all gave each other saoco on the floor/ Whenever there's perreo, they call the cops/ 'Cause the girls here bark and meow/ If I get drunk, it's my fault/ If you're jealous, that's on,"
A winter-inspired music video for the upbeat song was released on Friday, May 23, 2025. The video shows Karol G dancing and snow-surfing while she belts out the lyrics of the song.
At the time of writing this article, the music video for Latina Forever had amassed over twelve million views on YouTube.
