Katy Perry has sparked a reaction from her fans with her latest Instagram post. On Monday, August 18, the "Roar" hitmaker shared a carousel on her official Instagram account, showcasing her experiences on the East Coast during her ongoing The Lifetimes tour. The post included twenty slides featuring both photos and videos from her tour.
The carousel included a picture of the singer’s daughter, Daisy Dove, whom she shares with actor Orlando Bloom. In the picture, the singer poses with her four-year-old daughter at Madison Square Garden. Katy was wearing a brown sleeveless mini dress with black knee-high heels. Daisy is facing away from the camera while wearing a multicolored dress, paired with white socks and black shoes.
Daisy is featured in another slide, exploring a stationary spacecraft while wearing a coordinating pink outfit. Other slides show Katy Perry having a good time while performing. The forty-year-old “Hot ‘n Cold” hitmaker captioned the post:
“EAST COAST I (heart) YOU. Sorry, I wrote a song about the West Coast being better, but here's an East Coast splat to make up for it. LAST 5 US SHOWS START NOW ATLANTA, TAMPA, MIAMI.”
More details on Katy Perry’s daughter, Daisy Dove
Daisy Dove is Katy Perry’s daughter, whom she shares with ex-husband Orlando Bloom. The couple welcomed Daisy on August 26, 2020.
“As I'm growing older, I'm realizing just being present in the moment is attained also just through breathing and being in front of my beautiful baby daughter. I've got way more at stake today than I've ever had before, in terms of my family,” Orlando Bloom told People magazine in a 2021 interview.
Daisy Dove made her first public appearance at Katy Perry’s final Las Vegas residency show, where she gave a sweet shoutout to her baby girl in the crowd. Daisy, wearing a red and white polka dot dress, smiled as her mother sent a touching message.
“Daisy! I love you so much," Katy said. "You're my best friend, I'm so glad you're here. I love you, my girl. I’m going to sing this song, and I think you know it. It was 2008, and mommy was a little bit wild back then.”
In another special moment, Perry told her audience that Daisy was a form of healing.
“I created this show after the birth of my daughter, Daisy Dove. When I met her, it was like all the love I was ever searching for finally showed up. She made me whole, and she healed me, and she showed me how to play again. So this show is for everyone's inner child and for the hope that maybe if we could all see life through the eyes of a child, we would be free.”
Since then, Daisy Dove has appeared alongside her mother on several occasions.
