Kesha recently delivered a show-stopping moment at London’s Mighty Hoopla festival when she brought Jake Shears of Scissor Sisters for a surprise duet. The fans in attendance were left pleasantly surprised as both the artists brought their A-game in terms of stage presence and collaborated on a live performance of “We R Who We R” and “Let’s Have a Kiki,” creating a performance that was as much a feast for the eyes as it was for the ears.

The festival is famous for making unforgettable pop culture memories, and this year’s moment took things even higher. The surprise collaboration was also received positively by fans on social media.

To round off the evening, Kesha sang 'Praying' together with the Trans Voices Choir, and Sink the Pink performers' presence made the night even more welcoming. LGBTQ support was a leading theme in Kesha’s performance at the Mighty Hoopla. Jake Shears’ involvement, who himself is known as an LGBTQ+ icon, sent an even stronger message of equality and celebration.

Building anticipation for Kesha and Scissor Sisters' upcoming tour

Instead of being just a chance, the duet was planned ahead to spark interest in their upcoming Tits Out tour, which kicks off on July 1, 2025, with Kesha and the Scissor Sisters sharing the top billing. Jake Shears leads the Scissor Sisters, and the upcoming tour will be the pop band's first North American tour in over a decade.

At present, the Scissor Sisters are on a reunion tour, and Babydaddy and Del Marquis are both part of the band as well. Ever since Kesha and the Scissor Sisters announced their joint tour, everyone has been looking forward to it with great excitement. Having Jake Shears surprise fans at the Mighty Hoopla festival has boosted excitement among fans.

The Tits Out Tour kicks off on July 1, 2025, at the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre and will run through August 10, 2025, concluding in Tampa, FL. Notable stops include cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, Toronto, Charlotte, and Inglewood, among many others. In a recent press release, the singer said the following about her upcoming tour:

"The most political thing we can do right now is love. Love ourselves and love each other. I’m going TITS OUT this summer to bring as much safety, fun, acceptance, love, connection, and celebration to this country because we are just as much the fabric of this FREE nation as anyone else. We will not be quiet, and we will fight through joy! I think it’s time to make LOVE, not content. LOVE, not anger. LOVE, not hatred, and love, not war. Let’s help each other find some love and connection this summer. Let’s go tits out!"

The Tits Out Tour 2025 will feature both artists performing together across major venues, and after this festival preview, expectations are sky-high. This surprise duet comes at a perfect time for Kesha, who is set to release her new album PERIOD on July 4, 2025.
