Laufey 2025 global tour: Presale info, dates, venues, and more explored

Laufey is officially set to hit the road in 2025. Following the announcement of her third studio album, A Matter of Time, the Icelandic-Chinese singer-songwriter has revealed a global tour in support of the new record.

The newly announced tour includes orchestral performances, UK summer shows, and a fall arena run across North America. The run has been split into multiple legs, including a summer stretch of UK shows and orchestral performances in select US cities, which will be followed by an arena tour across North America this fall. British singer Suki Waterhouse will join Laufey as the supporting act on all North American dates.

Laufey shared the tour announcement via her official Instagram handle, captioning it:

Laufey (pronounced lay-vay) is mainly known for blending jazz, classical, and pop influences in her sound. Her 2023 album, Bewitched, won a Grammy. Now, she is gearing up to release A Matter of Time on August 22, 2025, via Vingolf Recordings/AWAL.

Ticket information

Tickets for Laufey's A Matter of Time Tour will be released in two phases:

• Artist presale: It is set to begin on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 10 a.m. local time. Fans can register at the official artist website 2 amatteroftimetour.com for early access.
• General on-sale: It will start on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.

Additionally, VIP packages will also go on sale during the artist presale window.

It is worth noting that a portion of ticket sales, which is $1 from each ticket, will be donated to The Laufey Foundation. The organization aims to support young musicians and youth orchestras by providing them with the necessary resources.

Laufey's new album, A Matter of Time, is officially set to release on August 22, 2025. The project follows her 2023 album, Bewitched, and includes already-released singles like "Tough Luck" and "Silver Lining."

In a statement where she spoke about the upcoming album, Laufey shared:

"Every new album for me is a blank book of stories to write. I am constantly thinking about classical and jazz, how to properly preserve them and pay homage. For this album, I just wanted to let my heart wander."

The album was co-produced with Spencer Stewart and Aaron Dessner of The National.
