It is an emotional romantic song loved for its depth, rawness, and vulnerability. The catchy yet meaningful lyrics, especially “I’ll go to hell with you,” capture the feelings of emotional liberation.

4. Clockwork

This track is the opener and has vintage harmonies and charming rhymes that set up a dreamy, fairytale-like mood. It is loved by fans for being light-hearted and for its lyrics.

5. Tough Luck

Tough Luck is mostly jazz-influenced and covers difficult relationships. Fans call it a fiery post-breakup anthem, which is graceful, although the lyrics lean into emotional honesty and edge.

6. Forget-Me-Not

It is a deeply moving, nostalgic track, orchestrated as a love letter to Iceland, as the first part of the song is sung in Icelandic—a surprise to listeners that probably stayed with them. Fans found it warm and resonant.

7. Mr. Eclectic

A unique track, unlike other vulnerable and deep tracks, this one has a sassy bossa-pop take. The song is energetic, playful, and blends irony and wit seamlessly in its lyrics.

8. Clean Air

It is a country-tinged song centered around the themes of moving on and healing. The genre shift adds texture to the album and showcases Laufey’s versatility as a musician.

9. Castle in Hollywood

The storytelling style shifts in this track. Overall, the song is a nostalgic pop-folk blend. The harmonic composition lacks depth, but fans still regard it as a great track, as it has a uniqueness compared with others.

Although dreamy and whimsical, with soft lyrics and warmth, critics found its instrumentation a touch repetitive. The track has floating vocals and explores self-doubt that comes with loving someone.

11. Too Little, Too Late

Laufey's Too Little, Too Late is another breakup ballad with touches of melancholy. The song is written from a male perspective, and although the lyrics are lovely and thoughtful, the delivery is not very dynamic, making the song less memorable.

12. A Cautionary Tale

This folk-influenced track tells personal insights. The lyrics lack the emotional punch of other tracks, making the overall delivery uninspired.

13. Cuckoo Ballet (Interlude)

The track is light, cinematic, and theatrical, but short and transitional, making it feel incomplete. Fans regard it as serene yet cut short.

14. Sabotage

Sabotage closes the list. The track is bold, with jagged strings and dramatic intensity. Some fans felt the track was emotionally raw, while others found it overblown.

In an interview with AP News, Laufey shared how her recent album differs from her previous ones. She said this new album is the freest she’s ever felt making music. Unlike her past projects, she didn’t try to follow rules or make it educational and simply created it straight from her heart.

All tracks are officially released and available on platforms including Spotify, iHeartRadio, and Apple Music.
