Lollapalooza 2025 Day 3: Rüfüs Du Sol, Twice, Doechii, and more highlights

Lollapalooza 2025, which began on Thursday, July 31, 2025, in Grant Park, Chicago, reached its third day on August 2, 2025. The annual music festival, a four-day event, concludes on Sunday, August 3, 2025.

The event features a variety of performances from artists specializing in alternative rock, heavy metal, punk rock, hip hop, and electronic dance music.

It has become one of the largest music festivals in the U.S. which draws thousands of attendees every year. This year’s lineup features singers including A$AP Rocky, Doechii, Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, Luke Combs, and Tyler, the Creator.

Day 3 of Lollapalooza 2025 was headlined by the Australian alternative dance group, Rüfüs Du Sol, which consists of Tyrone Lindqvist, Jon George and James Hunt. The groundbreaking K-pop powerhouse Twice marked their historic debut as Lollapalooza headliners, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Additionally, the list of performers on Day 3 of the festival included Young Miko, Mk.gee, Clairo, Two Friends, Marina, Doechii, JPEGMAFIA, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, Charlotte Lawrence, Max McNown, Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra, Orion Sun and many more.

Highlights from Lollapalooza 2025 Day 3

Here are the highlights from the Lollapalooza 2025 Day 3, held on Saturday, August 2.

Australian group Rüfüs Du Sol set the T-Mobile stage afire with their signature electronic dance music. According to reports, their performance was held at 8:45 pm, marked by high energy levels and pulsating beats. They gave an immersive performance for the audience.

The next highlight of Lollapalooza Day 3 was the performance by the Grammy-winning female rapper, Doechii. During her performance, the Swamp Princess announced that she will embark on her first-ever tour. However, details are yet to be revealed.

She brought rapper JT as a guest to her set, who performed on Alter Ego. Her set was structured in a play format, titled Doechii’s School of Hip-Hop.

This year, Twice made history by becoming the first K-pop girl group to headline the Lollapalooza festival. They performed at the Bud Light stage bringing their infectious energy to the platform.

The group includes Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. They debuted their fourth album, This is For, in July 2025. Their performance included songs like Queen of Hearts and the title track of their latest album.

Orion Sun opened her set at the Grove stage with Antidote and Space Jam – An Odyssey, both from her 2017 release A Collection of Fleeting Moments and Daydreams. Her energetic performance, infused with her take on R&B, drew applause from the crowd.

She performed Ne Me Quitte Pas (Don’t Leave Me) for lovers in the audience. Her other albums include Hold Space For Me (2020), Getaway (2022) and Orion (2024).

After the terrific performances on Day 3, the music festival is now gearing up for its last day, on August 3, 2025. It will be headlined by Sabrina Carpenter and A$AP Rocky, both of whom are known for their dynamic and engaging presence on stage.
