The new album: Hard Headed Woman
Margo Price's upcoming Hard Headed Woman is officially set for release on August 29, 2025. It will be Price's fifth studio album. Don't Wake Me Up, the second single from the album, is written with her husband and collaborator Jeremy Ivey. The song features Jesse Welles and was debuted alongside a video directed by Hannah Gray Hall.
The video draws inspiration from Bob Dylan's cue card-laden street performance in Subterranean Homesick Blues. Some scenes from the music video feature Margo Price moving through working-class spaces such as bowling alleys, cemeteries, and liquor stores to match the song's lyrical references.
