Mario released his latest studio album, Glad You Came, on December 13, 2024. The singer talked about his album in an exclusive interview with REVOLT on October 4, 2024:

"The theme of the album is a meeting point. From everything that I love and am influenced by but also my fans. The concept for the album is about coming to a space where we’re meeting at a checkpoint."

The singer continued:

"I grew up with the fans and now we’re at a place where it’s about the architecture of the music. It’s about the shows — I’ll be going on tour in February. It’s a homecoming type of moment. It’s a vibe."

Mario, in an exclusive interview with RATED R&B on December 28, 2024, talked about his collaboration with James Fauntleroy. He said:

"James was kind of my muse when it came to illustrating my feelings, emotions and vulnerability in a new way. He’s great at helping to complete worlds when it comes to the creative process. He’s also a great producer."

The singer continued:

"I think his experience as a writer and being in so many different rooms [makes] him an extraordinary partner when it comes to being an artist because, a lot of times, you get stuck in your way of writing melodically."

Mario is best known for the studio album Turning Point, released on December 7, 2004. The album was very successful and received a platinum certification after its release.
