Master 2025 North American tour: Ticket info, dates, venues, and more explored

Death metal act Master is officially gearing up for a coast-to-coast North American tour this fall. The group will be covering over 20 cities between September and October 2025.

This run has been officially titled the Sovereigns of Sickness tour. It includes a co-headlining stretch with Dutch death metal outfit Sinister from September 18 through October 5, 2025. Moreover, all dates will feature Pigs Blood as the opening act.

The trek is set to kick off on Friday, September 12, 2025, in Los Angeles, CA. The tour will see Master performing in multiple U.S. cities, including Detroit, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Houston, and Denver. The run will wrap up on Saturday, October 11, 2025, in San Luis Obispo, CA. The itinerary features a mix of intimate club shows and mid-sized underground venues.

Master was formed in the early 1980s. The group is often considered one of the earliest death metal bands. The band was founded by bassist and vocalist Paul Speckmann. Their sound and lyrics helped pave the way for a wave of the extreme metal scene in the United States.

Notably, though based in the U.S., Master has spent much of its time touring and releasing music through European labels. Albums like On the Seventh Day God Created... Master and Slaves to Society are some examples of their beloved death metal albums.
