Mogwai are officially to get back on the road with a new run of UK headline shows set for February 2026. The Glasgow-based post-rock band has announced a 13-date tour. It will take them across Scotland, England, and Wales. During the trek, support will come from Forest Swords.
The newly announced shows follow Mogwai's 2025 touring schedule, including European concerts and a series of Latin American festival appearances this autumn. The upcoming UK tour continues Mogwai's support for their 11th studio album, The Bad Fire. It was released in January 2025 through their Rock Action Records label.
The record was produced by John Congleton. It featured singles like Fanzine Made of Flesh, God Gets You Back, and Lion Rumpus. The album came following their 2021 chart-topping project, As the Love Continues.
Mogwai announced the tour via an official Instagram post, which read:
"We are back across the UK next February - sign up to our mailing list by midnight at mogwai.scot for pre-sale access starting tomorrow at 10 am, general sale starts this Friday at 10 am. Support on all shows from the brilliant @forestswords. We can't wait."
Mogwai were formed in 1995. The band is currently touring Europe, with stops in Croatia, Switzerland, Germany, and Turkey. Then, they will be heading to Greece in October 2025. In November, they will perform in South America and Mexico as part of festivals such as Corona Capital and Fauna Primavera, alongside acts including Foo Fighters, Weezer, and Massive Attack.
