Native James has announced a new EP. Titled 'Confessions Of A Sinner,' the EP is set to come out on October 3, 2025. The EP is currently available for pre-order from the official store of the singer. It is also available for pre-save at streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music. The first track of the EP, You're Nothing, is already out and available for streaming.

As per Rock Sound, the singer elaborated on the meaning of the EP in press statements, stating:
"This EP is ups and downs, trials and tribulations; it entices the duality of oneself while taking you down a path of reflection. It’s connected with rage and all the above – a sinner and his thoughts."
He has also talked about the track You're Nothing:
"You’re Nothing is about doubling down; letting the system, the perpetrator, the hater and the abuser know that they are nothing. That same rhetoric that has been implanted into the heads of many that they’re worthless, or nothing – we’re spinning it on its head making the people realise they are something, they are valued."
Alongside the EP, the singer has also announced a new tour, which is set to take place from November 4, 2025, to November 12, 2025, across the UK. The singer announced the new tour and the release of the track You're Nothing on September 3, 2025, via a post on his official Instagram page:

The singer spoke of his career in an exclusive interview with Viper Magazine last September, talking about how he came up with his professional name:
"I remember sitting in my boy’s room saying I needed a name change. I picked up a dictionary and put my finger on a random part of the page, and I landed on ‘native’. My last name is James, and I thought well everyone is a native and we want to include everyone, so voila, ‘Native James’."
Native James also talked about his influences in another interview with Kerrang Magazine in September 2024, stating:
"In primary school, we used to have somebody who would take us to school, and he used to have his own playlist. There was Motörhead, Linkin Park, Evanescence, System Of A Down, Cradle Of Filth… and I fell in love with the sound."
Native James released his debut EP, Rebirth, on September 6, 2024. The singer has performed at festivals such as Reading & Leeds, Glastonbury, and others throughout his career.
