Pretty Stranger, Unethical, Sweet Fever, Peace & Violence, and Tout Ces Mots are some of the popular tracks from the album. In an interview with Riff Magazine, she said:

“In my heart, I felt like there was a creative difference [with Atlantic], and it felt like I was being pulled in a different direction. I was moving against the tide, which can be disheartening as an artist. It felt like when I was writing, I wasn’t able to say what I wanted to say when I wanted to say it.”

FILM NOIR is a deeply personal album by the artist which represented obstacle, defeat and triumph Faouzia has experienced in these years.

This week’s top albums releases showcase a diverse range of music from the best artists in the music industry such as DJ Snake, Armand Hammer and The Alchemist, Faouzia, Danny Brown and Rosalía.
