2025 ARIA Awards: Complete schedule, streaming details, and more explored

The Australian music industry's biggest night is set to make a return this year. The 39th ARIA Awards are officially scheduled for Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

The upcoming ceremony will once again take place at Sydney's Hordern Pavilion. It will be the ARIA Awards' fourth consecutive year at the venue. This year, the awards are moving back to Network 10 for the first time since 2016, and it will be streamed live on Paramount+. It is being presented in partnership with Spotify.

ARIA CEO Annabelle Herd says,

"With so many of our local artists dominating on huge global stages in the past year, we have lots to celebrate and this year we are taking the ARIA Awards to a whole new level."

The authorities took to the event's official Instagram page to announce that,

"ARIA, in partnership with @spotifyaunz is thrilled to announce the return of the ARIA Awards to @sydney's @hordernpavilion on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 🙌 Celebrating the very best of Aussie music, the 2025 ARIA are returning to @channel10au and streaming on @paramountplusau. Save the date and get ready for Australia's biggest night in music 🎶"

A new award for the 2025 ARIA Awards

One of the significant changes this year is the introduction of the Best Music Festival Award, supported by Tixel. The new category is set to recognise festivals that promote Australian talent, either by having an Australian headline act or billing a lineup that is at least 50% local artists. Only members of the Australian Festival Association can submit entries. Final nominees will be selected by the ARIA Voting Academy.

Herd says,

"Live music festivals are absolutely essential to Australia's broader music ecosystem: connecting artists with new audiences, and creating critical opportunities for talent development."

Notably, this year is the end of ARIA's run with Nine and Stan and the conclusion of YouTube's role as presenting partner. The 2025 edition will return to 10. Paramount+ will provide live streaming for the first time.

Daniel Monaghan, SVP of Content and Programming at Paramount Australia, described the upcoming event as "an electrifying celebration of Australia's bold, vibrant and creative music industry." Monaghan also talked about the opportunity to reach audiences "loudly across multiple platforms."

On the other hand, Playbill Venues CEO, Michael Nebenzah, mentioned:

"Playbill Venues is thrilled to once again be hosting the ARIA in the wonderful Hordern Pavilion. There is a perfect synergy holding this iconic music industry event at the Hordern – a venue loved by Australian performers and fans alike. The ARIA Awards is a highlight in the Hordern’s annual calendar."

Alongside the main event, the ARIA Awards Presents program will return in 2025. The lineup will be announced later this year.
