Earl Sweatshirt is stepping into a new chapter, both musically and personally. The rapper has confirmed that his sixth studio album, Live Laugh Love, arrives on August 22.

The announcement came through his Instagram, where he shared the cover art, track list, and even slipped in a LeBron James meme of the NBA star smiling through disbelief.

The project features production credits from Theravada, Navy Blue, Black Noi$e, Child Actor, and Earl Sweatshirt himself, but no listed guest features.

Ahead of the official reveal, fans got a taste of the rollout in unusual Earl fashion. Per Complex, a listening party was held last week where the rapper sent out an imposter in his place.

Attendees were also handed zines filled with contributor shoutouts, ranging from actor Steven Yeun and director Hiro Murai to Vince Staples, Donald Glover, Dave Chappelle, Liv.e, BKTHERULA, The Alchemist, and even Earl’s mother, Cheryl Harris.

The album follows last year’s Voir Dire, a collaborative effort with The Alchemist.
