Are Zac Brown and Kendra Scott dating? Everything about their relationship as the couple make their red carpet debut at 2025 AMAs

Singer Zac Brown and jewellery designer Kendra Scott made their red carpet debut at the 2025 AMAs. They have been dating for several months and have eight children between them from previous relationships, who range from 11-23 in age.

The markedly private couple was also spotted recently in pictures from country artist Jamey Johnson's wedding, which was earlier this month. According to a source close to the couple,

"They were set up by a mutual friend, and are totally in love. They are head over heels and have become inseparable."

This year’s American Music Awards were hosted by Jennifer Lopez and aired on May 26. Zac Brown was in attendance to accept the show's first-ever Veterans' Voice Award, which “spotlights artists who have made a lasting impact in the lives of veterans”. Brown and his band were also among the nominees for Favourite Country Duo or Group.

Zac Brown and Kendra Scott - Givers at heart

One source of their immediate attraction and connection is their shared love for philanthropy. Zac Brown is an emphatic supporter of veterans, often even bringing them on stage to honor them and hear their stories before the Zac Brown Band performs. In addition to his efforts through personal outreach, he works with a nonprofit organisation called Hope for the Warriors, whose mission is to assist combat-wounded service members and their families.

He has also founded Camp Southern Ground, a unique establishment that serves a dual purpose. It aids veterans attempting to readjust to civilian life, and also serves as a residential camp for kids and teens during the summer months.

Kendra Scott is also a generous soul. She has established The Kendra Scott Foundation, which “exists to empower women and youth in the areas of health and wellness, education, and entrepreneurship”. The same source that provided information regarding the couple added,

"It's just one of the things they have in common”.

In a 2017 interview with PEOPLE, Scott was open about her views on charity,

“I decided early on that if somebody ever asked for anything, for a donation, I would never say no, I would always have something to give”.

Her father sadly passed away when he was only 47 years old, though the wisdom he imparted has provided her guidance ever since.

The couple seems to be in a great place, according to the source. Zac Brown is happily moving on in the wake of his messy divorce from ex-wife Kelly Yazdi. The pair announced the split after just four months of marriage in December 2023.
