50 Cent has addressed recent allegations involving rapper Fat Joe, voicing support for his longtime industry peer amid a high-profile lawsuit.

The comments come in response to a $20 million civil suit filed by Terrance “T.A.” Dixon, a former employee of Fat Joe, in the Southern District of New York. The lawsuit outlines a range of accusations, including an alleged plot to harm 50 Cent. In the lawsuit, Dixon claimed:

“Around the winter of 2006-2007, Defendant Cartagena was residing in Miami when he received a call reporting 50 Cent’s presence at a New York venue. Defendant Cartagena ordered the hit, but 50 Cent was surrounded by ‘Navy Seal’ type security, and the would-be assassins were afraid to make the attempt.”

On Friday, June 20, 50 Cent responded publicly via Instagram, sharing an image of himself alongside Fat Joe and refuting the story.

“These baseless accusations and claims are not credible. I’m sorry joe has to endure the public scrutiny and damage to his reputation. THIS A STICK UP ! I wrote this hook I should a kept this one.”

The post was set to Young Buck’s track “Prices On My Head,” referencing the broader context of the accusations. Fat Joe responded in the comment section with a “100” emoji, symbolizing agreement.

Beyond the alleged assassination plot, Dixon’s 157-page filing includes several serious claims. The lawsuit accuses Fat Joe of “coercive labor exploitation, financial fraud, s—ual manipulation, violent intimidation and psychological coercion.”

It further alleges that the rapper placed Dixon “into humiliating situations, including s— acts performed under duress and surveillance, accompanied by threats of abandonment in foreign countries if [he] refused compliance.”

As of now, neither Fat Joe nor his legal representatives has issued a public statement regarding the lawsuit’s broader claims.

Fat Joe dismisses allegations as “fraudulent campaign”

50 Cent’s post comes after Fat Joe formally rejected the explosive accusations made in the $20 million lawsuit filed by Dixon.

While 50 Cent addressed the issue through a post on social media with a mix of sarcasm and commentary, Fat Joe has not publicly commented directly. However, his legal team has issued a strong denial. In a statement, attorney Joe Tacopina said:

“Law enforcement is aware of the extortionate demand at the heart of this scheme. The allegations against [Fat Joe] are complete fabrications – lies intended to damage his reputation and force a settlement through public pressure. [Fat Joe] will not be intimidated.”
