On August 4, 2025, the SEC Awards honored BTS' Jungkook’s solo track Never Let Go with the ‘International Song of the Year’ Award.
The BTS idol’s single came out on June 7, 2024, while he was serving his mandatory military service in South Korea. The track was launched via HYBE-owned BIGHIT Music.
Fans of BTS' Jungkook were impressed with the idol’s latest win. As a result, they swamped the internet with their wishes and appreciation for the K-pop sensation. One of them wrote on X:

While some described JK’s track as amazing and beautiful, others called it a powerful song. Many of his followers congratulated him on his latest recognition.
