Beyoncé’s return to Houston has set off a frenzy among fans and ticket resellers alike, with her two homecoming shows this weekend completely sold out. Those hoping to catch the pop icon live are now turning to resale sites, where prices range from $175 for standard entry to more than $7,000 for premium front-row seats.
Even seasoned industry professionals are astonished. Kayla Ramsey of Houston Ticket Store said:
"It's insane, it is. And I'm shocked at those prices, I really am. That's why most consumers now wait till the day or the week off to get a ticket because they think they'll get a better deal and usually they can."
Ramsey also encouraged patience for buyers hoping to land cheaper seats, while reminding them to avoid dubious platforms.
"Like this example here, if they wait a little longer, they'll get a better deal. Stay off Craigslist and social media when looking for tickets.”
She recommended using verified websites that offer receipts and payment protection.
Beyoncé is set to take the stage in Houston this weekend as her Cowboy Carter tour makes its hometown stop. The two-night show will unfold at NRG Stadium, with shows scheduled for 7 p.m. local time on both Saturday and Sunday.
The superstar, who hails from Houston’s Third Ward, hasn’t headlined a concert in the city since her surprise appearance at the Houston Texans' halftime show on Christmas Day.
Now, the superstar's return marks a major moment for fans eager to see the 35-time Grammy winner perform tracks from her genre-blending 8th studio album, Cowboy Carter, released in 2024.
Yeehaw! Beyhive boards Cowboy Carter bus for the ultimate Houston experience
Meanwhile, as demand for tickets remains high, fans have found fun and creative ways to celebrate Queen Bey's return, even before entering the stadium.
Houston City Tours has launched the Cowboy Carter party bus, a festive, music-filled ride that doubles as a Beyoncé tour on wheels.
The double-decker bus, once based in London, will now cruise through Houston's Third Ward, stopping at key landmarks from the singer's early life, including a viral mural that’s become a photo hotspot.
The hour-long ride features a live DJ, a Beyoncé look-alike competition, and, according to Stephanie Rodriguez of Houston City Tours, plenty of energy.
“We are expecting a lot of Beyoncé fans, so we want to make sure they have the best experience. How amazing to be on a double-decker in Beyoncé's hometown, partying, listening to Cowboy Carter, Texas Hold 'Em, all of Beyoncé's hits.”
The fanfare isn't limited to locals. Families from nearby cities, like New Orleans, are making the trip for the occasion.
When asked about seeing the pop icon in her hometown, one fan beamed:
“Amazing… it's gonna be super good and I can’t wait to see her sing.”
Antonio Rodriguez, the party bus owner and driver, admitted that he's just as excited. He was asked who between him and his daughter is the bigger fan of the TEXAS HOLD 'EM hitmaker, and he hilariously answered:
“I think me — don’t tell her.”
The party bus will roam Houston toward NRG Stadium with fans dancing on its rooftop deck. The Cowboy Carter ride will be available only for concertgoers on Saturday and Sunday.
And much like the concert, every event is expected to be packed as the city buzzes with Beyoncé-inspired events this weekend, ranging from dance parties to jam sessions and even a luxury candle-making class — all encouraging attendees to embrace their inner Queen Bey.
