Billie Eilish has enlisted cinematic heavyweight James Cameron for a mysterious 3D project, revealed during her sold-out Hit Me Hard and Soft tour stop in Manchester over the weekend.

The Grammy-winning artist teased the collaboration on Saturday night at Co-op Live, hinting at something big in the works. Billie Eilish told the crowd:

“So, you may have noticed there’s more cameras than usual up here. Basically, I can’t say much about it, but what I can say is I’m working on something very, very special with somebody named James Cameron, and it’s going to be in 3D.”

Billie Eilish noted that the project would span all four of her Manchester shows, telling fans:

“So, take that as you will, and these four shows here in Manchester, you and me, are part of a thing that I’m making with James.”

James Cameron — a three-time Oscar winner known for Avatar, True Lies, Titanic, and more — was reportedly in the audience during the announcement.

The “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” hitmaker joked:

“I’ll probably be wearing this exact outfit for like four days.”

No additional details have been confirmed, but fans are already bracing for something visually striking, given Billie Eilish’s artistry and James Cameron’s track record in immersive cinema.

Billie Eilish and Nat Wolff spark romance rumors in Venice

Billie Eilish’s collaboration with James Cameron comes a month after her recent romantic European getaway, where she and actor Nat Wolff were spotted together in Venice, Italy.

The two were seen cruising through the Grand Canal in June, appearing close as they talked and took in the city’s architecture. That same day, they were photographed kissing and toasting with champagne on a balcony, seemingly confirming ongoing romance rumors.

The pair had previously drawn speculation after they left the iHeartRadio Music Awards together in March, followed by a night out in New York City shortly after.

While neither Eilish nor Wolff have officially confirmed their relationship, the alt-pop songstress has spoken warmly about the Wolff family.

In a June 2024 Vogue feature, Billie Eilish told Nat’s brother, Alex Wolff:

“You’ve made my life so much better… And your family is literally the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me.”

Alex Wolff shared a similar sentiment in an October 2024 Variety interview:

“Billie and me and my brother, we all have Tourette’s… And I think we all have bonded over that. Even when I saw Billie on interviews, I said, ‘Oh, she’s one of us.’”

Nevertheless, the "Ocean Eyes" singer has made it clear she’s not keen on sharing details about her love life publicly. In a chat with Vogue in the same October feature, she said:

“I wish no one knew anything about my sexuality or anything about my dating life. I’m never talking about who I’m dating ever again.”
