BLACKPINK announces the official name of their world tour. Here is everything you need to know.
Global pop sensation BLACKPINK is officially back as they announce their upcoming world tour. The girls, Rose, Jennie, Lisa, and Jisoo, who have all reached major milestones in their solo careers, have finally announced their group activities for 2025.
Their entertainment company, YG Entertainment, announced on May 16, 2025, that the all-girl K-pop group will be going on tour this summer from July 5 to 6 at Goyang Stadium as they kick off their "DEADLINE" world tour. Their last tour was almost two years ago, as fans show excitement for their much-awaited reunion.
According to YG, the group starts the tour in their home city of Seoul and ends in Tokyo on January 16, 2026, touring all over America, Europe, and Asia. Here is the list of cities they will be visiting.
- Goyang - Goyang Stadium
- Los Angeles - Sofi Stadium
- Chicago - Soldier Field
- Toronto - Rogers Stadium
- New York - Citi Field
- Paris - Stade De France
- Milan - Ippodromo Snai La Maura
- Barcelona - Estadi Olímpic
- London - Wembley Stadium
- Tokyo - Tokyo Dome
Not only that, the group is also apparently busy recording new music in the studios, as revealed by Rose during one of her interviews at this year's MET Gala red carpet.
The deadline tour marks BLACKPINK's third world tour, after "In Your Area" in 2018, "Born Pink" in 2022, and now "Deadline" in 2025. Though the group is known for not dropping music, activities, and other content as regularly as other K-pop groups, ever since their debut in 2016, their fandom, Blink, remains ever loyal.
Fans react to BLACKPINK's tour
While most fans are excited about their much-awaited comeback, some have also been speculating about the story behind the tour's name. Some blinks thought the word DEADLINE reflects a major transformation for the group and symbolises a countdown, while others seem to think it's a redefinition in terms of the group's image and branding.
One user questioned,
"Deadline of what?"
Another claimed,
"this will be the most successful world tour by a Kpop group ever"
One fan also stated,
"Coming to sell out stadium queens"
Another expressed.
"Not Blackpink casually dropping a world tour announcement on a random Friday morning"
One user also boldly exclaimed.
"Deadline because the deadline for every other kpop group is coming. The leaders of kpop are BACK."
The tickets for attending the tour can be bought from TicketNetwork, Vivid Seats, StubHub, Ticket Liquidator, SeatGeek, and Ticketmaster.
