Kanye West, commonly known as Ye, surprised everyone on April 1, 2025, when he tweeted "I love Carti" after not posting anything on social media for 10 days. Netizens wondered whether the feud was finally coming to an end with this tweet, which was a big turnaround after months of being involved in a public feud with Atlanta rapper Playboi Carti.

In March 2025, the fallout between Kanye West and Carti reached its peak when Ye publicly accused Carti of leaving him out of the latter's upcoming album, Music, while requesting voice contributions from Ye's daughter, North West.

Fans anticipate as Kanye West expresses forgiveness in his recent post

Shortly after the "I love Carti" tweet, Ye posted another message on X.com that read:

"I forgive those who have caused me pain"

The response from people online was immediate and divided. One of the most notable comments on the post read:

"Carti and Ye beef over?" (@maplermapler on X.com)

The post received more such comments. For instance, @DogeGuy12345678 stated:

"Very humble of you Ye"

@briggsmetax on added:

"Forgiveness is not weak. It takes courage to face and Overcome powerful emotions"

@leihpares tweeted:

"Redemption arc begins."

@MagaveGV wrote:

"I love you ❤️"

Fans and followers were quick to appreciate his forgiving outlook, with some encouraging it, while others left comments with biting sarcasm.

Another post was added to the X.com handle of Akademiks TV, with the caption:

"Ye asks God for forgiveness, says he forgives all who caused him pain, and reveals his kids FaceTimed him 🙏"

The post received several comments. @jadastokeees tweeted:

"good for Kanye ."

@up2blaze remarked:

"Interesting."

Fans and followers of Kanye West left comments that reflected that they didn't believe Ye's forgiving image wholeheartedly. The tone in their comments hinted that they thought he might be up to something after all.

One more post was added to the X.com handle of Raylan Stark with the caption:

"Bro, After weeks of Nick & The Groypers Defending Kanye for Blowing his cousin. He says “I’m done with Antisemitism.” “I Love All People” “God Forgive Me For The Pain I’ve Caused” Lmaooo get rekt Losers. Hahahahaha"

The Ye-Carti feud, with its high-profile album withdrawals, profanity-filled rants, and surprise public vows of love, is a remarkable example of the chaotic mix of creativity and ego that defines modern hip-hop. Only time (and perhaps a collaboration) will reveal whether their fight ends in friendship. But the tweet from April 1 does offer us a glimmer of hope that they may make up to each other.
