On June 26, 2025, BLACKPINK dropped the new trailer for its much-awaited DEADLINE World Tour. The girl group’s comeback tour, which is set to kick off in July this year, will continue next year, covering several locations. The four members will mark their return with the upcoming tour after focusing on their solo careers for the past few months.
The latest trailer, which presented the four members, was seemingly shot in a desert setting. Netizens noticed a resemblance between the group tour trailer and the MV of Little Mix’s hit track Shout Out To My Ex, which came out in 2016. Given the similarities, fans seemed divided over the new trailer of the K-pop group. One of them stated:
“Cheap copy of little mix”
Internet gave mixed reactions to BLACKPINK’s new trailer for DEADLINE World Tour
Netizens were divided over the girl group’s latest teaser, which was alleged to seek inspiration from Little Mix’s MV by a few of them. While some said familiar themes, others defended the girl group, saying queens recognize queens.
“familiar themes,” a fan said.
“Little mix either didn't invented the car + desert concept.,” commented an admirer.
“It's not new they always copy other artists,” an admirer wrote.
Some claimed that it wasn’t the first time for the K-pop band to copy other artists, while others supported saying that Little Mix didn’t invent the desert and car concept.
“well I’m glad it’s little mix because queens recognizes queens,” another fan wrote.
“My first thought when I watched Blackpink’s teaser was “Little Mix Shout out to my ex vibes,” a fan stated.
“we are getting the little mix and blackpink crumbs,” a fan wrote.
