China Walker, 30 of the rising rap duo Cam & China, has passed away after a 2 year battle with a rare and aggressive form of ovarian cancer. China's identical twin sister and groupmate, Cam Walker took to Instagram to share the news of her passing, along with a picture of her holding China's hand. In the post, Cam said:
"Most don't know, China has been fighting a rare aggressive Ovarian Cancer for 2 years. Tonight, she transitioned and is now resting peacefully. Give me time to grieve in peace, but know she loved all our supporters."
Cam then urged to check in on their loved ones, adding:
"Check on yo people, you never know what they are going thru until it's too late."

Cam and China Walker are identical twin sisters from Inglewood, California, and gained recognition as a two-people band, Cam & China in 2016, after they released their self-titled EP. The two have amassed over 216,000 Instagram followers. Their Spotify page has around 4,068 monthly listeners till date.

Twin sisters, Cam and China Walker were a part of the all-girl group, Pink Dollaz, which was known for its contributions to the Jerkins' movement, which is a dance and music culture emerging from Los Angeles in the late 2000s.
After leaving Pink Dollaz, the two rebranded and found their own 2-people band, Cam & China. Their band gained recognition for their mature, aggressive, and lyrically driven style of rap. The rap duo's music blends West-Coast hip hop with feminist themes. While speaking to XXL in an article published in November, 2016, China said:
"We push each other, we try to make sure both my sister and I are in tip-top shape as far as writing with the pen, delivery and being in the studio. We're definitely competitive."
China Walker also added:
"We would be in the studio and make sure our pen game was strong. We would take our time with each record, making sure everything was right. A lot more thought into each record. And try to make sure that it can resonate with someone."
In the interview, China also reassured her audience saying:
"We come off to be really mean but in person we're really sweet people."
Cam & China's growing recognition has got them a feature in Rolling Stone, and a standout on On the Radar Freestyle, along with a notable appearance in season two of HBO Max's Rap Sh*t.
