On August 9, Afro-fusion artist Burna Boy performed at the Flow Festival in Helsinki, Finland. The Grammy-winning musician played to a packed stadium, delivering popular tracks such as Anybody and Love. During the show, he energized the crowd and encouraged them to remove their shirts.
A video from the festival is circulating online, showing audience members waving their shirts in the air. In response, many netizens claimed the act was a copy of Wizkid's live performances.

Burna Boy's Flow Festival performance fetched mixed reactions
In the video, the signer can be spotted asking fans to remove their shirts in the middle of his performance.
"I still see people with their shirts on, I don't think you guys want the show to keep going, do you?... Shirts off, shirts off, shirts off," the singer hyped the crowd.
Netizens drew parallels between his performance and Wizkid's.
"He go copy Wizkid na," a user wrote.
"Copy copy😂," another netizen wrote.
"Everybody wan dey copy Wizkid 😂😂," another user commented.
However, others on the internet commended the singer's performance and his stage presence.
"Burna Boy electrified the Flow Festival in Helsinki urging the crowd to strip off their shirts and wave them proudly in the air... His vibrant energy and infectious beats created an unforgettable moment of unity and celebration turning the audience into one spirited shirt-waving sea of joy," a netizen wrote.

Burna Boy has managed to become the first African artist to sell out major concert venues in the U.S. In 2025, he made history again by selling out Co-op Live, the UK’s largest indoor arena. He also became the first African artist to sell out the Stade de France in Paris.
