BTS' Jungkook's audition story resurfaced recently. On August 22, Kakao Entertainment Junior's YouTube page shared an interview with the casting director of BIGHIT Music, Nominmi. In the interview, she opened up about BTS' Jungkook's audition. Among other things, the casting director shared an anecdote about the BTS idol's audition.

Nominmi shared that Jungkook had a glowing halo around him when she saw him at the auditions.

“During the Superstar K preliminaries, there was a kid with bright, sparkling eyes who seemed to have a halo glowing around them — so perfect! I was enchanted and gave them my business card and got their contact info,” Casting director said.

She went on to say that BTS’ Jungkook is famous for receiving business cards as he kept getting many offers. She also opened up about how JK ended up with BIGHIT after declining other offers.

“He's famous for receiving a ton of business cards; there were really so many casting directors that day. So, not wanting to miss out, I offered a contract right away. I heard later that other companies were waiting in front of Seoul Station, saying they just wanted to meet him for 5 minutes, but (Jungkook's) father said, ‘No, he's going to sign with (BigHit),” Nominmi added.
