Eason Chan’s illness sparks rumors, but his career remains strong

On May 15, Eason Chan's Fear and Dreams tour's official Weibo account put out a statement.

The statement said they were pushing back three shows that were set to happen from May 16 to 18 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It said this change was because the singer got sick all of a sudden, to be exact, he tested positive for COVID-19. Doctors told him he needed to rest right away.

In 2002, Chan experienced a serious injury after falling off the stage during a concert in Taiwan, which resulted in trauma to one of his testicles that required medical attention.
