Roots rock musician Diesel has officially extended his 'By Request' tour into 2026. Following his successful 2025 regional run, the beloved singer-songwriter and guitarist has announced 21 new shows across Tasmania, New South Wales, Queensland, the Northern Territory, South Australia, the ACT, and Victoria.

Diesel's tour concept allows fans to shape each night's setlist, resulting in a show that's different at every stop. He is expected to deliver hits from his early days with Johnny Diesel & the Injectors, along with tracks from his 2023 album Bootleg Melancholy.

Diesel mentioned in a statement:

"It is safe to say, when an artist makes a set list, they are second-guessing what people want to hear most of the time. With the By Request Tour, I feel like I am hitting the sweet spot every night when I compile a set full of songs and anecdotes directly given to me by the people who are going to be there on the night."

He also added:

"It is a distinctly different experience when you perform a song knowing that it’s been asked for. It pushes me into the deep crevices of my back catalogue, guided by some of my most devoted listeners. As I journey into my fourth decade of making music, I can't think of a better way to celebrate than by engaging with those who have been part of this ride."

Diesel announced the tour extension into 2026 with an official Instagram post, which read:

"By Request 2026... Hitting 21 cities across Australia powered entirely by audience requests. Pre-sale - Wednesday 29th October 10 am General On Sale - Thursday 30th October 9 am Register for pre-sale access now via dieselmusic.com.au"
