Drake's return to Oceania has officially been cut short.

Five months after postponing the final leg of his sold-out "Anita Max Win" tour, the Canadian rapper has now scrapped all remaining Australia and New Zealand dates. The news was confirmed on July 29, 2025, when fans holding on to tickets finally received official notice that the concerts would not go ahead.

The official announcement ends months of speculation from fans who were left without updates after Drake postponed the final four shows of the tour back in February due to a "scheduling conflict." Despite initial responses from the artist's team that the dates would be rescheduled, no further details surfaced.

Promoters Live Nation Australia say all affected fans will receive full refunds. The company stated:

"Despite extensive efforts to find a solution, rescheduling within the necessary timeframe was not possible. Drake remains committed to returning and performing these shows when his schedule permits."

The "Anita Max Win" tour was Drake's first show in Australia and New Zealand since 2017's "Boy Meets World Tour." The new run was officially announced in November 2024. Sixteen arena shows were initially booked across Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Auckland.

Drake began the tour in February 2025. He performed twelve of the sixteen scheduled concerts. However, on February 26, 2025, fans were informed that the remaining four shows would be postponed due to a "scheduling conflict." No rescheduled dates were released later for the cancelled shows.

Officially cancelled 2025 Drake AU/NZ tour dates

The following dates were originally scheduled but never took place:

  • Friday, February 28, 2025 – Spark Arena, Auckland, NZ
  • Saturday, March 1, 2025 – Spark Arena, Auckland, NZ
  • Tuesday, March 4, 2025 – Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Brisbane, AU
  • Friday, March 7, 2025 – Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney, AU

All four dates are now officially cancelled. Ticketek and Ticketmaster have notified fans of full refunds.

Since wrapping his Australian run early, the rapper has shifted his focus to the UK and Europe. He is currently touring with PARTYNEXTDOOR on their joint $ome $pecial $hows 4 U tour. He is performing tracks from their collaborative album $ome $exy $ongs 4 U. The trek includes stops in England, the Netherlands, Germany, and France.

Additionally, he returned to Wireless Festival in London, headlining all three nights. Notably, Drake's Manchester show on July 28, 2025, was also postponed due to "unforeseen ferry schedule and travel logistics." The performance has been rescheduled for Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Co-op Live Arena.

The Canadian rapper has yet to issue a public statement addressing the Oceania cancellations. For now, fans in Australia and New Zealand will have to settle for the promise that he will "return when his schedule permits." All ticket holders for the cancelled Oceania dates will receive full refunds. Emails from Ticketek and Live Nation have already gone out.
