Drake is reportedly going to have his own radio station in GTA 6.
Hype Fresh has reported that in his radio station in the highly anticipated game, which comes out in May next year, the Canadian rapper will have the option to drop exclusive tracks at will, including Iceman. This option will likely be available for players across the U.S., UK, and Canada.
Music producer and hip-hop icon Jermaine Dupri was the first to break the news on June 12, when he sat down for an interview on the New Rory & MAL podcast.
"From what I've heard, Drake's gonna have his own station in GTA 6. He'll even be able to upload unreleased music straight into the game," he said at the time. "They asked me to do Grand Theft Auto, and they were saying like Drake got his own radio station on Grand Theft Auto."
As of this writing, it remains unclear if this is a collaboration between Drake and Rockstar Games, the makers of GTA 6, or between the game developing studio and his different labels, including UMG via Young Money Entertainment or OVO Sound.
Nonetheless, this would be a trendsetter in the gaming industry, and could even serve as a rival to Fortnite's own trendsetting instincts, as the game could then serve as a virtual arena where artists can debut their songs.
Social media sites have already begun imploding with excitement and/or apprehension. Scroll down to see what everyone's saying.

As for what to expect from the GTA 6 radio, the game has been known for blaring pieces from several prolific artists' catalogues, including Frank Ocean on GTA V's Blonded Los Santos 97.8 FM. Kenny Loggins also had the honor on the same game, for Los Santos Rock Radio.
As of this writing, however, news about Drake being featured on the forthcoming game has yet to be confirmed. It has also been rumored that Kendrick Lamar, Megan Thee Stallion, and DJ Khaled will all have their own stations on GTA 6. Only time will tell which theory rings true.
