Ed Sheeran's new album Play is slated for release on September 12. The singer, known for his songwriting, has just announced a new UK and Europe tour to celebrate the album. The Perfect singer, who is currently playing on stages across the world, announced this new tour via an Instagram post shared on September 3.

"Coming to play some shows in europe. these shows will be more intimate than a stadium show, obvz, but still will be incredible. I love playing these venues so much." Ed Sheeran wrote in caption.

The newly announced UK and Europe tour consists of only five dates, commencing on December 1. Fans wishing to join the singer at UK venues can get access to the presale of the tickets if they preorder his upcoming album on Amazon Music before 7 pm BST on September 7.

For those interested in other European venues, they can get presale access by preordering the album on his official website before 3 pm BST on September 8. The presale will start on September 9, whereas the general sale will go live on September 11.

To echo the rhythms of his eighth studio album, Play, Ed Sheeran has announced his five-date tour to the UK and Europe at the end of this year. The singer will kickstart this tour from Paris and will wrap up in Dublin. Here are the dates and venues of Sheeran's UK and Europe tour.

  • December 3 – Munich, Germany at Olympiahalle
  • December 5 – Coventry, England, at Coventry Building Society Arena

  • December 9 – Dublin, Ireland at 3Arena

The ticket sale details are mentioned above. As per the official website of Ed Sheeran, those pre-ordering Play will receive pre-sale access codes and other related instructions through email. Fans can buy up to 4 tickets on one access code. Also, one customer will get one pre-sale access code irrespective of the number of album pre-orders.

However, it is important to note that pre-ordering the album doesn't confirm the ticket. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
