Ozzy Osbourne had jokes (and timing) when his daughter Kelly got engaged in front of him.

During The Prince of Darkness’ final Black Sabbath performance at Villa Park on July 5, Slipknot’s Sid Wilson proposed to Kelly in front of her entire family.

It was a heartfelt moment… until Ozzy Osbourne jumped in with a perfectly timed comment that had the crowd laughing. He said, before letting the moment play out:

“F—k off, you’re not marrying my daughter!”

The huddling crowd, including his daughter Kelly and her partner Sid, laughed before the Slipknot turntablist pressed on with his proposal:

“Kelly, you know I love you more than anything in the world… Nothing would make me happier than to spend the rest of my life with you. So, in front of your family and all of our friends, Kelly, will you marry me?”

Kelly said yes, clearly surprised, while the Osbournes, including Sharon and Jack, cheered from the sidelines.

The engagement marks a full-circle moment for Kelly and Sid, who first met during the 1999 Ozzfest tour. After two decades of friendship, they began dating in early 2022.

Back on Valentine’s Day, Kelly shared a tribute on Instagram:

“After 23 years of friendship I can’t believe where we have ended up!… You are my best friend, my soulmate and I am so deeply in love with you Sidney George Wilson.”

Wilson reshared the same photo with the caption:

“There is not enough colours to display the palette of Love I have for you in my Heart. Happy Valentines Day my Love XoXo.”

Later that year, Kelly announced she was expecting their first child, sharing an ultrasound photo with the caption:

“I am over the moon to announce that I am going to be a Mumma… I am ecstatic!”

Their son, Sidney, was born in late 2022, though the family kept things low-key until Sharon Osbourne let the news slip on The Talk in early 2023.

Ozzy Osbourne bids an emotional farewell as Black Sabbath closes final show

Black Sabbath took the stage one last time at Villa Park in Birmingham on July 5, delivering a historic finale to a crowd of 40,000 fans, and an emotional goodbye from Ozzy Osbourne himself.

The 76-year-old rock legend, who has Parkinson’s disease, performed seated on a black throne but brought no less energy. Wearing a leather coat and a gold armband bearing his name, he rose dramatically from beneath the stage.

Ozzy Osbourne called out:

“Are you ready?

Then, he launched into his solo classics like “I Don’t Know” and “Mr. Crowley.”

“Let the madness begin.”

Between songs, he paused to reflect with the audience.

“It’s so good to be on this stage. You have no idea.”

Later on, visibly moved, he added:

“You have no idea how I feel. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

The performance marked the first time in two decades that the original Sabbath lineup — Tony Iommi, Bill Ward, and Geezer Butler — shared the stage with Ozzy Osbourne. They joined him for a final four-song set, closing with the 1970 classic "Paranoid."

While Ozzy Osbourne remained seated throughout due to health issues, his voice held strong, and his presence was electric, with his wild-eyed expressions, arm waves and gestures, and more.

Meanwhile, the Back to the Beginning event also featured rock royalties: Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello, Steven Tyler, Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Ronnie Wood, Blink-182’s Travis Barker, and Slayer.
