BTS' Jimin made another record with his solo album. He emerged as the first and only Asian solo artist with two albums charting over 60 weeks on the Billboard World Albums Chart. With his new milestone, the K-pop idol also holds the records for the two longest-charting Asian soloist albums at #1.

Jimin has dropped two solo albums so far, namely FACE and MUSE, which were launched in March 2023 and July 2024, respectively. FACE spent 63 weeks on the chart, while MUSE completed 60 weeks.

Fans were delighted with Jimin’s new record for his solo works. Consequently, fans swamped the internet with their praises for Park Jimin.

One of his fans congratulated BTS' Jimin and dubbed him a history maker.

BTS' Jimin released his second album in July last year

According to BIGHIT Music, the idol's album MUSE is influenced by the surroundings. The company stated on its website:

“Jimin of 21st century pop icons BTS is set to release his second solo album MUSE on July 19, 2024. While FACE delved into confronting one’s inner self, through MUSE, Jimin candidly shares the stories he wished to convey while portraying his journey of finding inspiration from his surroundings.”

It further continued as:

“Jimin, who led the overall production of MUSE, tells the story of making various attempts at finding real, genuine love and losing his way at times over the album’s seven tracks”
