Finesse2Tymes took to his Instagram story on April 29, announcing that he is facing a probation violation from his dealings with former mentee, FNG King, whom he took under his wing. The two had a mentor-protege dynamic and had collaborated publicly before King accused Tymes of inappropriate behavior in December, 2024.
In his recent Instagram story, Finesse said,
"Damn that's crazy my P.O just called and said they violated my probation for (this) happen wit King...finna go turn myself in."
This comes after an October 2024 incident when TMZ reported that Finesse allegedly confronted a woman associated with King, who identified as his guardian. The woman called the police and accused Finnesse and his brother of threatening her. As per a TMZ report, Finesse2Tymes confronted the woman in a smoke shop in Humble, Texas, and allegedly threatened her, by saying,
"You gonna die on camera today."
His brother, who was also present at the scene, allegedly implied that Finesse had a gun. As per court documents, the incident was a result of a custody court battle, for the 11-year-old FNG Kng, whom the rapper had earlier cared for. The rapper was hit with an arrest warrant in January 2025, after the October, 2024 incident.
What happened between Finesse2Tymes and FNG King?
In December 2024, FNG King, who is allegedly Finesse2Tymes' godson in a social media post, accused the rapper of exposing him to inappropriate behavior.
FNG's words were in response to Tymes' social media comments, where he said that the 11-year-old artist ran away after he tried to discipline him for doing things that were inappropriate for his age. In a social media post, Finesse said,
"just want to let the world know that King is no longer with me. So if you see King with guns, you see King shooting dice, you see King in the club, you see King doing grown people sh*t... He's not with me."
Finesse2Tymes also agreed that while it was he who exposed him to all the inappropriate behavior, he did realise after a certain point that "this ain't right."
In a video, as a response, King can be heard saying,
"He never sent me back home," King began. "He be texting my phone talking about 'whenever you want to come back and act like a child.' Bro, you kept me off the internet, bro... You came and got me for who I am and then you're gonna try and change me for who I am? I am who I am, this is how the internet knows me. And any people who are looking at me as a bad kid, I'm not, I'm an actually great person."
King had also accused the rapper of smoking with him, giving him drugs, and having guns around him, despite him being 11, which led to him running away from him.
